Sounds good mucker. Well worth it with the sounds of it.
I like the idea. Polished water through a sock.
Who would have thought it hey.

I fitted the 100 micron sock at 12 pm yesterday and checked it every couple of hours and the took a photo every 4 hours at feeding times the last of which was 8 pm last night. Going by the rate it was collecting muck I thought by 12 am last night it would be putting the overflow to good work so thought it was worth leaving to do it's own thing over night. I checked it just after 6 am this morning expecting to find it blocked up and overflowing but it wasn't. OK it's noticeably fuller than it was at 9 or 10 pm last night but still flowing fairly nicely. Got another photo of it just after 6 am and will see if it will last till 12 pm so that's 24 hours worth.

Looking at what's in the sock I think it is mostly dissolved food as it looks kind of sandy? That may explain the difference in the amount of build up from 12 pm yesterday to 9 or 10 pm last night as the last feed was around 8 pm. If my theory is correct it should start blocking again quicker since I fed them at just after 6 am this morning.

Will see if I can get a kind of time lapse 24 hour set of photos later today

Well it's a cheap way of getting clearer water but quite time consuming what with swapping and cleaning the filter socks.

Next step is swap the Eazy Pod for a mini combi drum lol maybe after the bank job eh

Swapped the 100 micron filter sock for another 100 micron filter sock just before 8 pm tonight and although it looked like it was almost blocked when but when I turned the bypass on I saw that actually it wasn't that bad. Probably only about 1/4 of a pint of muck was in the sock surprisingly!!!

    Yes that about right lol

Now the Aquasource Resolve is starting to work I may need to go back to the 200 or 400 micron filter socks? Second does due to go in tomorrow evening so may even need to run it without a filter sock?

Run it without overnight and stick it on during the day when you can keep an eye on it.
I have a feeling that whatever you do youíll be changing it regularly mate.

You could be right but as I have the overflow system on it, if it does block over night it will just start running out of that, hopefully
