If you are confident of the job, yes it's very easy. If not, then get a pro in.

Yes you can but be careful of the maximum loading of either what ever is feeding the first box or if you come off of one of the switched outlets of it.

As with anything where water and electric is concerned, you need to make sure it is protected by a 30 mA RCD or a 30 mA RCBO further back down the circuit

What if the switch box is already a spur off the ring?

What if the switch box is in the middle of a radial circuit?

The answer isn't a straight yes in my opinion, but as Frim says if its for the pond then it needs to be on a RCD or RCBO

Well technically if it is fed via a fused spur you can fit as many sockets or switch boxes as you like as they will be protected via the fuse in the spur so the biggest one of those is 13 amps (although I have seen a 20 amp that was fitted in a plug so would also fit a spur but that must have been a special and not something you'd find in Screwfix etc.)
