The ha6 silicone only had an hr to dry but it's fine as it is only a gasket and didn't want the media to dry out so whacked it in.

John do you have any pictures of how you did the seive on your shower . Only had the multibay up and running properly for a couple days and already am sick of cleaning brushes every day !!! As am pump fed thought I just stick a stacker box sieve then drop in to multibay

Sorry Aj only just noticed your post, yes the boxs are great really strong.

Thought I put on some pics but will have a look, the shower was copied from Dave vr6 he has it on you tube.
To be honest mate I took the seive out as I have a 10k pump on it and it blocked a lot, would work better with a slower pump which I havnt got.

I put some filter wool on the top which is great and I now have a filter sock on as well, the wool has to be cleaned often though.

He is ok Steve, if you do a shower I would recommend useing grog the big stuff,I got a bag of pumice and didn't like it as there were hardly any holes in it.

Will have a look for your pump thread,to be honest I havnt fully been on here much lately.

    There's always one flash git...

All that stainless pipework does look nice, though...

Here's a much more down to earth shower, taking inspiration from some of the Japanese breeders' fish houses:

Momotaro quite clearly seem to have inspired the above
