That's actually a big issue:
Your suffering from air "drawdown" and the created vortex is sucking air into the pump because either you don't have enough flow into the pipe or the depth of water to the surface isn't enough for the "pulling" power of your pump ...

Any pictures or updates for this Golden? My pond is very similar to yours with an Eazy pod so I'm thinking of adding extra.
I do have this Oase filter lying around so I'm wondering if it could be converted in any way.

Hi Iike the moving bed you made, is it working well, I will be building a moving bed but as a newbie I am not too familiar with the piping needed can you please supply me with a list of the products you used. Lastly did the container hold up to the winter weather as filer is outside.
