Irrigation systems
Hi what ideas for filter waste water irrigation systems have any of you used ?
I have found out you can get 10% discount of your water bill if you do that and also good for the plants and save water win win

Depends on your water company, some don't offer that. You need to install a water meter on the pond and you only get a discount on that, usually. Not your whole bill.
Most use a proper soak away.3070 Gallons. 4" Bottom Drain and Skimmer. Draco Solum 16 Drum. Anoxic Filtration. Air lift returns.

I have a 1000 litre water butt sump buried next to my filters. Inside it is a sump pump with a float switch, which is sent to pipework to a series of smaller pipes with valves to direct the waste around the garden. It was difficult to dig it out because i had a broken arm at the time. I also laid a concrete pad for the sump to sit on since 1000 litres literally weighs a ton. Although it's very rarely more than a few inches full. So perhaps 1000 litres was overkill. Make sure (if you choose that option) you put a cover on it or you may end up with frogs in there.

Hi Andre thanks. What size tank do you think I would need and what type of pipework did you use ?
