Bottom drain line and rodding point
Not far off installing the my bottom drain line. It will be a 3 Metre run with a 90° to a T. Then T will have an upright above the water level for rodding and an overflow. Then from the T will be another T to a purge valve and then onto another 90° into my nexus. I'm fitting the rodding/standpipe mainly for the overflow.
Is this a sound plan? Am I missing anything obvious?

A rodding point is very sensible. What you are doing Sounds ideal. Be aware that a swept 90 is better for rodding also.
