    coastal koi aerated bottom drain

    Evening all,

I opted for the coastal koi aerated bottom drain but can any of the members on here who have one of these tell me what stops the water getting in the 1 inch air line pressure pipe ? I currently have it all solvent welded up in my garage checking for leaks with water sitting in the 4 inch but also the inch pipe. TIA.

Just the air pressure as far as am aware. Air pumps above water line incase of electricity outage to stop back flow

One way flow adaptor in the rubber airline

I agree, you'll find it hard to keep water out of the pipe, whatever you do to try to stop it, but the incoming air will push out any water in it when you turn the pump on.
