Sealing spillway to EPDM liner
I purchased this spillway (https://waterblades.co.uk/collection...steel-spillway) which I now intend to fit to my pond, which is using an EPDM liner. The guys on the phone said to just use a big blob of silicone all around the inside of the stainless steel section that touches the liner.
Having now got to the stage of cutting everything out and being ready to install, it has occurred to me that the screws I use will be a potential leak point. A tiny one, but one I don't want.
Mine is taking water from one side of a concrete block to another. So in this case, I have the spillway, the liner, concrete block with 4 holes and rawl plugs in.
I have found you can buy 'sealing screws' with rubber washers in to make a tight seal. Has anyone used these?
How are people installing these spillways without a leak?
Thanks!

having spent a lot of time and money on sealing butyl membranes with gorilla waterproof tape, goldseal mastic etc,i finally bit the bullet and used gordon low primer and adhesive tape. You must make certain that the seal area is perfectly clean of algae ( I jet washed mine).
