Amalgam uv placement
Hi All.
Just in process of planning filter house pipe work on new pond build (2400 gallon, bottom drain to Nexus 220, skimmer to Cetus sieve returning over Bakki shower.
The problem I am having is where to put Amalgam UV.
Was originally going to put a t piece vertically with the side t leading to a 90 into the sieve. However, if I do that to fit the ball valve and associated pipe work pre sieve would need a depth of 1275mm below base of sieve (similar with nexus).
Every option I think of is no good.
Does anyone have similar setup with an answer to problem?
Thanks in advance for replies.

Somewhere between the pump and the pond after the Nexus would be the most ideal location.

Not ideal as probably restricts flow but I have my uv in side a 50mm waste pipe and dropped in nexus inlet

I’ve got a similar set up and put my amalgam in the sieve, so the water flows around it before going over the weir. Works great, but guess would depend on how much flow is going through your skimmer.

Relative to above?
My son 3D prints some parts for me to use in my filters and pond. He's just got me to buy ASA 3D Printer Filament for some parts I need, the only type of UV stabilised material ATM, and more than twice the price of normal ABS, PLA etc. etc.
Well see - but not soon

It’s a fully submersible one.
