    Skimmer for sleeper pond

Hi, can anyone recommend a solution for me, I have laid sleepers on their side (22.5cm wide). Four layers tall. Can anyone recommend a skimmer that will give me enough clearance so that the body of the skimmer can sit clear of the sleepers and allow for a 3” pipe connection?

Most skimmers include the option to add an extender to them. Which are basically rectangular tubes that bolt on to the face of the skimmer and bridge the gap across the block work/sleepers.

I had a quick look and the oase extension is pretty pricey.

Here it is one just as an example

But I'm sure you can find a cheaper one.

I think all the ones with extensions are pricey,I looked recently, the kockney koi style skimmers are dirt cheap yet add the extension and the price triples
