What is an economy filtration system?

I am trying to find an economy filter with low energy consumption. Do you have any suggestion?

Something like a used Nexus 200 with a Draco Drum would be perfect.

    Efficient, cheap to run, reliable.

If its a tiny pond maybe something like an Eazy Pod, but obviously would be more maintenance involved.

Look for a variable speed pump , so you can slow it down to the desired speed and use less electricity .

If you are starting from scratch and you can accommodate an air lift "pump" this will be by far the cheapest system to run when it comes to water circulation with built-in aeration as a bonus.
Unfortunately these aren't an "off the shelf" "plug and play" item.
