New project pond build
Hello, its been a while since i posted here, but i i know everybody enjoys a good pond build, so here is one i'm doing for a client.
Pond details, 14ft x 10ft x 6ft deep internal measurements, approx 5000 gallons capacity, including filters.
Hollow block dry stack built, re bar in every other cavity, and back filled with concrete.
Belt installation for extra strength.
Window 2000 x 800 mm to go in the front wall
Single bottom drain
Skimmer
Two returns
Shower
Filters undecided
Insulated and Fibre glassed
Coping stones to finish the wall once glassed.
Thanks
David

You wont believe this but the client excavated the pond site completely by hand

Hello Andy
oops forgot to update, apologies.
The build is complete, its awaiting filtration now.
Lifting the glass in was a challenge, 130 kilos, triple layer 2 m x 1m.
The small patio in front was an idea added later, the customer wanted to be able to stand and look through the window. Its going to be great view.
Lovely big filter bay built, he's got tons of room, and everything has got drains built in for top water removal as well as filter waste.
The front is going to be tiled in natural stone next year.
