    Just to let you know as I found it out, they do diggers now that have adjustable tracks that literally make the digger less than a metre wide for small access

    This will not work even for me. Extension build (kitchen) leaves like 0.5m between wall and fence. Thank God my house is last next to a footpath so the plan is to have the digger go around and remove part of the fence to access the back garden...
