    Fantastic job!

    For a couple of ideas,
have a look at doghouseriley's build.
He was a very active member here a few years ago.
    Has a youtube channel too.
Built a brilliant pagoda style teahouse that he keeps his juke boxes in
and he also made other Japanese ornaments.

Been a while since I updated.
I was a away for a week and now I'm out of money .
I might find a few quid down the back of the couch to get the roofing materials.

I did manage to get the bridge "finished" . still needs some paint etc.

    View from the bridge.

That side of the pond has been a bit of a dumping ground since I finished the pond.
This year I'm going to make that whole area into a Japanese inspired garden. The three beside the filter house is a mature cherry blossom so should look the mutts nutz when its all done and the trees in blossem.

I also added some fish 4 koi,
One of note is my first Japanese koi , purchased from another local pond owner .
A 49cm Assagi , makes my other fish look like tadpoles

    Thanks!
No reason other than to create interest!
Lot of extra work and expense but it would be very imposing with a massive straight roof.

Got the back wall done last night. Garden/pond is really coming to life now!
But we did have frost last night so had to move the tender plants back into the glass house . Ice on the fish food lid this morning.
I bought 10 bamboo plants last week to plant up against the fence, there is pipe work buried all there so going to make some planters. Thinking of getting a few sheets of 3mm steal and welding them up.

Bit more done. A year today since I started digging!
I thought I'd get the whole roof lined & felted in one day. Early start and didn't stop until 6pm and only got half done .
Hasnt leaked yet so thats promising but time will tell.

    PXL_20230501_130551810.jpg

Also cut the opening for the round window. I think the "glass" is coming today. Starting to get some ideas together for the layout of the new garden!

I'm not sure about quality to be honest but as I said its not leaking so far. First time doing this so making it up as I go.
I didnt use underfelt, to be honest I found very little info on line (that is'nt American ) about installing them . i went Straight onto ply.
If it does become a problem I'll either shingle over them again.
Not sure if'll tidy up the fascia , looks a bit "sheddy" but it is a shed at the end of the day

my cabin came with precut barge boards and top caps to neaten the ends looks pretty good instead of a row of nails.
and you use felt sealant for lapping joints to seal the ends and just used a cheap roofing breathable membrane under the shingles but not 100% needed.
