My poor koi have been in a 16000l kids swimming pool for 18months now, so urgency is of the upmost, i cannot understand why folks are not turning up or finishing the jobs, might just fill it all in....
    Do you have photos?

If it's just the solvent weld then it's relatively simple. I had no experience and did all the plumbing in solvent weld.

I had 3 contractors play me around, eventually I ended up getting a local builder that has a koi pond todo the work. Phil Basset of Basset Building Services near Guildford did the build (I designed and plumbed it - although Phil can do the solvent weld it was faster me doing it in parallel). Phil's number is +44(0)7704 890422. Having worked on the build together, Phil is old school and reliable - it would tell you instead of not turning up. Just say Nick in Burpham recommended you.

I found both Plastic Pipeshop and Hendersons good reliable sources for U-PVC piping and components. Be warned that if you've not bought the valves etc the costs went up 37% between October last year and March time!
Eco Pond: 13,000 litres, 20K+ lph Airlifts, 1300l anoxic, Solum 16. No pump. 58W total.

if the valves are expensive, (especially 4") i've never found cheaper than costal koi and good quality as well.
    4" high quality ballvalve £85...
you can also get spare solvent weld stub flanges, and handles...
