Thanks Nick, yep I’ll have to fashion something to sprag it up as will be leaving for a while. On the plus side I’ve left the bottom row with some gaps to let water through and it’s all hardcore behind the wall so it’s free draining. I’m also going to reduce the patio height by as much as I can.

So a little bit of fettling today but almost out of time for now :-( Sorted the levels last night which tie in nicely
So POA in order, when im next back:
-Cut through existing round pond and fit the tunnel (In case this goes TU, ill be running two seperate filter systems so could effectively abort and run two ponds)
-Do something with koi (not really come up with a plan yet!)
-Kingspan extension, fit skimmer and all pipework
-Fibreglass new extension and around tunnel into pond 1
-Backfill and landscape whole area
-Re fit filters and return koi
-Book in DTF for new filter house fitting
-Boom job done, completion by April 30thFibreglassed/5350 gals/4.5 m Tunnel/Spindrifter/Twin drums/Bio chambers/Beads/Showers/Remora ASHP

Well time flies when youre having fun
. Suddenly only 12 days till departure for home and recommencement through the doom and gloom of pond shutdowns, war and rain, hell im told even the suns come out in the UK! So the big pipe arrives Monday (6m x 400 mm) its pressure pipe 6 bar 10mm thick, hopefully it does the job, its got 2 chances! windows and SS supports coming from Ken, Ultraskim skimmer on order, 2 drums, new pumps, skimmer already arrived, roll on the 31st

So arrived home yesterday after long journey from work and a few too many beers in Dubai! Unfortunately no one else is going to shift the ton of rubble and type 1 that had fallen into pond in Jan, so straight into it, set like concrete so hard graft. Once that was out, bit of a clean up, and quick set render with fibres applied, some water coming in still so plan will be to drill the points where it’s coming in (about 4) drain down and fill with more fast set, then apply waterproof tanking paint, which will paint on damp, hopefully then job done. Sump, pump also installed, but being clay still tends to sit there.
is intermittent fasting bad for youFibreglassed/5350 gals/4.5 m Tunnel/Spindrifter/Twin drums/Bio chambers/Beads/Showers/Remora ASHP

Anoxic after a moving bed?
Just seen this. I have successfully added anoxic to moving bed, but heeding Manky Sanke's advice...
