to be fair, it's not their fault directly...
no reasonable company would take orders knowing they'd get a load of pee'd off customers chasing orders over 4 months old...
they've said that the shipment has been refused several times due to an incorrect digit on the export paperwork from the manufacturer,
and EU customs deliberately looking for, and inventing reasons to refuse exports.
i made the decision on what drum/filter to get in a thread a while ago, based on ease of ordering, local collection, and parts.
if i could go back now i would not buy from a EU supplying company.
if it takes 4 months+ to get an order, what is parts availablity going to be like?
it's too late for me now, should have bought British...caveat emptor....
but i will make a point of not ordering anything that comes from the EU in future, if it can be helped.
i'm going to have to make a list of parts for my drum, including screens, motor, gears, sensors, ect... and buy them all up front.
as potentially waiting for 4 months for parts is just not acceptable....

appalling! yes...but who to be mad at...
it's all the EU's fault...petty vindictive beauracrats!
1,2,3,4 I declare a trade war!
it's still the design of shower and size i want...I won't cut off my nose to spite my face
plus i'm too far down the line to start looking elsewhere and waiting on a custom order again...
