Bottom drain
Good evening all, I'm planning on starting my 2nd pond build, slightly different to the last as this one is going to be gravity fed.
I spotted this on ebay and wondered what people views were.??

Many thanks
P. S I'm sure there will be plenty more questions to come.

That looks like a JBR drain . They supplied mine and all my pressure pipe and joins, and built me a one off skimmer modified for my particular se up.
Had no problem with mine.

I think that the seller is JBR, they have a website and once you work out what you need they’ll do a quote for the lot

JBR or spindrifters are the ones to opt for IMHO.
Many of my customers have used these and had no issues.

You went JBR and no complaints from me. They will also ship 3metre lengths of 110mm pipe which is helpful

Yep that is a great product. I have 2 in my pond from them.
The only comment I would have about that all-in-one package is that ideally you would want to fit a swept 90 degree bend rather than a normal 90 like that one. I’m sure if you message JBR they would be able to let you know how much extra that would be. It helps reduce flow resistance so can help your max draw rate from the drain.2016 new 6000 gallon pond

I agree, Defo swept bend is a MUST.
