Thinking on salt, you probably don't need it but it could offer several positives at the start.
My thinking is (and it could be boll*c*s ) that...
It can help with any passengers / health issues the fry might bring.
It should reduce stress after their move and help them settle
It could safeguard to some extent against nitrite as your filtration matures.
I'd be inclined to start with salt and once everything is established let it dilute out through your water change regimen.

Just found a 6000k bulb says full spectrum daylight. In a bayonet bulb. Quote
This Androv energy saving lamp produces full spectrum light comparable to sunlight at midday. Full spectrum light helps restore the body's natural circadian rhythms, improving mood and energy levels

So most the work gear has been evicted so this whole bit will be the grow on a little over 1mx1m. Water will be 1.25 deep but I'll be insulating 7ish foot to allow for filter and doing a false ceiling with insulation and doing the door as well keep it nice and toasty mount a shelf just above water for filter air pump feed and test kit. It's a couple foot from my kitchen so can keep a very close eye on them

Thinking about getting some filter media bags and bagging the grog up and hanging it in the pond to try mature it a bit will this be OK to use in a shower for the grow. Once I've scraped the pond fish and made sure they are clean that is

Looking good there mate.
You could put a couple of your other small ones in it for a month or so to get it going.
I put mine in clean water and fresh media all new and they were fine.John

Koi died with blood under scales
If I purchased a 8,000 litre pump could this work as it's triple my pond volume or should I go...
