The usage instructions on the controller unit leave a bit to be desired. I've read it through a few times and still no closer to understanding them. I reckon it will be a case of wire it up, get it installed and then press the buttons in random order until I get it sussed

I connected it up, just as a trial run, not on the pond but couldn't get out of cooling mode and into heating mode

If I remember right you have to raise the cooling temp to let the heating temp rise if that makes sence.
So its raising one to let the other rise.
There is a lock on it which you have to press the unlock button for a few seconds.John

My wife isn't well at the moment and needs a fair bit of help, so with that and the weather, I was only able to get about half an hour out there. In that time thou I was able to get it programmed..
Need another session tomorrow to correct the wiring and then hopefully all will be good.
