We also after removing the rockery moved the Marquee over to give me the room to do the concreting and give me the area of the new kit room ready to work out... it took some moving

More concrete patches done... Drako area

    Moved over...

As you can likely see from the last photo... dust sheets in the pond as STILL no water in, this was likely a bad decision...

So after a looooooooong and back breaking day I got in for my tea, them as the evening progressed rain started to come down very heavily and VERY strong winds started to lift the Marquee...

So at 10pm I had to go out, totally re-jig the blocks holding down the bottom of the tent... as the wind was even moving them off the floor !!

I also had to check the pond for sharp spots and remove them quick so I could get the hose in the pond.

Thankfully the granite boulders that were recovered from the rockery had a great use and I added them to the concrete blocks I had re-jigged to put more downward pressure on the bars...

Photos taken this morning as wasn't feeling it last night hahahaa

THANKFULLY they held very firm and didn't budge an inch

AND... I got 6 to 8" of WATER IN THE POND !!

    TODAY - Sunday

Fix in the timber insert in above the blade (In my wellies )

Finish all the tiling around the blade...

I also decided to get a coat of paint on the blade fill-in/backboard, which then made me get a coat of pain on the back walls to tidy them up before I start affixing pipes and cables to it, also to help keep dust down etc... also black up to the sides of the skimmer blockwork so all will appear black from the pond side...

I also did some tiling to the feature wall edges, which has started to finish it off nicely I think

As the day has progressed I finally got out of the 'in-pond' work so have been running water in all afternoon too, thinking I best turn it off soon before in covers my wellie tops

I am please with how it is coming on at last...

At least if it gets too bad I will just have to try and take it down, I just then will not be able to work in the evenings in the dry any more if I do that

If it was not for the pictures.

Thank you... and god so am I, I was just so desperate to do as much of it as I could without dropping adhesive, sealer and other crap into the water

So Feline... did you fill your pond and then leave it a while before emptying it out ??
