    New filter system

Hi I am upgrading my filter system, being a roofer I have loads of 68mm downpipe and was thinking of using this for waste water, joining any sections with rubber boots, is this a rubbish idea.
    Thanks Darren

    Hi dbs
The pond was at the house we purchased,The filter consists of gravity fed brush filter then pumped through UV and large loft storage tank for biological, it is very dated, I have an easy pod as a replacement,I was going to fit a pre filter barrel with existing brushes before pod,And a second barrel after pod with k1 and air stone for biological, I have never had a pond before thatís why I asked about the 68mm down pipe.
    Thanks for reply👍🏻

No Problem, good to see you are taking some responsibility and doing good with the pond, seems the downpipe is waste only I think it should be fine, just try to ensure you seal the joints well, and enjoy the pond, let us know how you get on
