Thanks TPP. It's been over a year now getting the pond completed, mainly because of the water table being to high due to where I live. If I new it was going to take so long to drop, I would have concreted the bottom a lot sooner. But getting there now and can't wait to get my fish back in there new home.
Thanks for looking in mate. And keep them vids coming .

Not finished yet, but the fish are in there new home , and the new fencing is up.
Still waiting for me nephew to do the electrics, as everything is on extension leads with buckets over them at the moment.
And the pond needs a good clean and a repaint, plus I have to dig a hole to put a sump and sump pump in so I can pump the waste water away, but getting there now.
Next move is getting the grow on pond going so I can get my young fish in there and out the IBC tank, and then the wife can have her patio back after I've give it a good clean.
The fish have only been in there a couple of days and the dreaded NPS has started already. I've hit the filter with 2.5L of EA Pure + filter gel and 2L of AE pure pond, so hopefully that will help, I'll probably stick another 2.5L of pond gel in as well within the next day or 2.
Once I'm on top of things I'll try and get some better pics of the fish.

you think your at the end of it when the fish go in...
but there's still so much more to do...

with the NPS, did you not have some live filter media to go over from the temporary pond?
i had a little blip on the ammonia, but am managing to keep on top of it by reducing feeding a bit.

I ain't got a drain anywhere near my pond Dom, but I have got a flood ditch that runs along the back and down one side of my property, so I'll pump from the sump to the ditch, It's the only way I can get rid of the wast water from the water changes.

It's always the same mate, your never finished, even when you think you are, there's always something else to do.

Yeah Dave I did have a bit of K1 from the temp filter, but not a lot mate, I mixed it with the other 120L of new K1 I used.
Should have put some of the mature jap matting in one of the bays for a while as well, but didn't think.

Here you go AJ. Each bay that flows over the top to the next bay I cut a section out of the bay panel and fitted some stainless steel mesh over the holes and above so the media can't escape.

    DSC_0339.jpgDSC_0369.jpgDSC_0370.jpgDSC_0371.jpgDSC_0372.jpgDSC_0363.jpg

I also placed 4 x 110mm flat round air stones in each double bay, all connected to 15mm pushfit pipe work. I also put some stainless steel wire mesh (7.5mm holes) on top of the egg box/crate grids in the filter bays, so the media can't go under and enter the next bay, but didn't take a pic of that.

    DSC_0289.jpgDSC_0293.jpgDSC_0294.jpgDSC_0296.jpg

And fitted all new drain valves and bulk heads.

    DSC_0288.jpg

And that's about it mate. Pumps on 80% at the moment and all's running well.
Just got to fill the last bay with a big bag of K3 I had from the last filter and we're finished.
So the filter will consist of, brushes, 4 static bays and 3 moving beds when It's finished.
