    Rubber boot on bottom drain?

Due to adding a second bottom drain, not on my original plan. I can’t get a straight run from my bottom drain to the drum. I was thinking of using a flexible rubber boot connector between two lengths of 110mm pressure pipe to get the angle i needed. It’s not 45 degrees so a 45 solid pipe connector wouldn’t work.

My problem is, will the boot be up to the job as I’ve seen some split before and at this point it won’t have a valve to stop the flow. And If I incase the joint in concrete will it make a difference?

Why don’t you just use a 45 bend fitting? Elbow or swept bend would be fine.

Why not just put the flexible connectors outside even though it’s not a straight run? Although the flexible connector would probably last forever why take the risk?

Well that was unanimous, cheers for the advice. I thought that would be the consensus but just wanted to check before I made a costly mistake. I’ll go swept bend idea and make it work. Thanks for your help.
