Surely it can’t be that runny?
I’m ordering a c35 mix which for strength has to have a specific amount of water. If they put shit loads of water in it. It won’t be a c35 mix?
Gonna have to ring the concrete company on Monday and check

Yeah check with them see what they think. I used c30 mix and a lot of water came to the top when tamping. Then again I did put a membrane down to stop it drying too quick. If you don't have the membrane it should soak away a bit which will help. Not trying to worry you but just be prepared for it.
I had 3 guys to level the 30x10 base I did and they stood around doing nothing. The concrete pump was so easy. A lil expensive though. I think I had around 20 cubic meters from memory. Didn't fancy mixing that up by hand!

I was going to put a membrane down... not sure if I should or not now?
Hmmm what’s more of an issue drying too quickly or too much water
The ground is solid clay with a tiny bit of mot1 so doesn’t drain very fast so I could pre damp it with water

Drying too quick is the issue, especially in this weather. You want a slow controlled drying. It still goes off pretty quick anyway tbh.

For an infinity window how far off the top of the glass can we have the water level so it’s safe for koi to not jump out?

Depends how big the glass is but I did around 10cm the whole way to be sure, rather a little over than not enough. As for the fish jumping, if you ever watch fish jump when they are being netted then you'd need about 3ft above water level. I have mine around 10-15cm an haven't had any escapees yet..

My window is 270cm long by 70cm high. I was planning on having 5cm overlap each side. Do you reckon that’s not enough?

Do I need glass 39.5mm thick?
Atlantica gardens quoted me for 39.5mm glass 270cm by 70cm.
Is 25cm glass not thick enough ?

That's a pretty big window mate, they deal with glass all the time do I would trust what they say, but I'm not an expert.
I've been told by numerous people that if the viewing area is over 60cm deep the thickness of glass gets larger and as your window is nearly 3 meters long, sounds about right to me.

What’s the best sealant to use around the window and how thick should the bead be?
Atlantica gardens suggested I put the liner over the window, not between the window and the frame. I always thought you wanted the window to be pushing on the liner to create a good seal.
He said you’d struggle to get the liner into the recess anyone else sealed the liner to the window this way?

Cheers I’ll go with that one.
What about the bead thickness and putting the glass behind the window and not between the window and wall?

I have just installed my window with a liner, and I installed it with the glass onto the liner in the recess in the block work.
Using the afore mentioned silicone, I found the liner was flexible enough to be moulded in to the recess and then stuck to the block work and I used some timber and clamps to hold in place until set.
To fit the window I applied plenty of silicone into the recess and put 5mm spacers along the bottom edge for the window to sit on rather than the glass digging into the liner.
I had also read on the forum not to apply to much pressure to the window as this would just squeeze the silicone out, and you ideally want the window to sit on 5mm beads of sealant.
I left this for 24 hours to set, and then sealed all around the window inside the pond with black sealant, and finished off the outside with grey sealant to match my finished walls.
In my case I didn't rush this procedure and overall it was done over 4 days to allow for curing. Others may want to achieve this quicker, but having now filled the pond without any problems I feel it was worth the extra time.

Great thanks you answered all
My questions there it really helps.
I’ll try and see how I manage folding my liner into the recess as to me that does sound a lot better than putting glass directly against solid concrete.
Plus having the glass push against a bead of sealant just seems a lot better than having a piece of EPDM pushing against a bit of sealant

So my recess needs to be around 44mm thick since my glass is 39mm...
Gonna have to to find a piece of timber 44mm thick now to put into my concrete mould
