    Fibreglassing recommendations/Pricing

Anyone have any recommendations? I’ve got a few prices but a thousand quid for a 2000 gallon pond seems an awful lot?

Do it yourself, tools, materials and paint wouldn't set you back anymore than 300-400 quid I reckon. I wish I had fibre glassed and concreted/rendered mine now but went for liner instead.

Materials for 40m2 is approx 650. I'm looking at doing this myself given the cost.

probably confirmed my thoughts then if materials are only circa 325 quid. Plus it’s a round pool with no corners how hard can it be?! Seems like it’s one of those mystical things that’s probably pretty easy?

its very easy to make a mistake

try and make a small thing and see how you get on,

for me its a no brainer, the stuff stinks, it makes you itch, its a recipe that needs to be followed and that includes the time you have to work with it, the glasser will be working flat out from the moment they start till finish, so you pay for their time accordingly, but if you have everything ready then within 48 hours of their visit you could be full of water and testing/cycling,
