Hmmmmmm yes I like the look of that, a bit like plastisol cladding, that does okay in the heat but I may be wrong, i think that is usually insulated sheets.

I've not seen this do you know where i can find information on the paint. I looked at the cement board and plastic cladding but the cost was too high aftet moving and decorating the house and building the pond funds are very limited hence the reason I was looking at the metal cladding which is around 1/3 of the price

The wet patches under the windows don't seem to be drying up i don't think I have anymore leaks I've lost around 1cm of water since I filled the pond up on Saturday afternoon which with all the hot weather this week and the sieve still open to the elements I think is about right. The coping stones are on now so i have no access to where the leaks were any suggestions

The only think I can think of Steve, is to drain down below window level ( I know it will be a nightmare) and put some more sealant on inside around the window. If it's still wet, water must be getting through somewhere around the window mate, maybe not the suggestion you want to hear, but if it was me that is what I'd be doing.

Cheers Jay may be my only option easier to do.it while no fish are in there I guess. Just a right pain as no idea why it still looks like its leaking

Pain to do mate, but needs doing. It's got to be the seal surely.
I'd drain it down, get in and just do it mate, take longer to fill back up that actually doing it!

I believe so its been difficult to tell due to the rain the level hasn't seemed to have dropped other than yesterday but I put that down to adding the shower and filling up the additional pipework.

Thanks, still get involved in what im doing but have tried to do things amicably. To be honest if I had known about the cement boards to start with I could have bought them straight away there wasn't much difference in price. Managed to get a bit more done today

Glad to hear being amicable as could have been a nightmare - Them boards look very effective Steve, I am tempted to use some on mine instead of wood (tiling my pond), as I think that looks very smart !!
The Daily pond temp thread
