Chaz’s pond build
Thought I’d post a few pics and details of my pond build that I have been dreaming of for like months. As most of you (who I regularly talk to) on here know I’m new to keeping koi started 1 year ago with a little 250gallon tub and then I was hooked! So my new pond is around 1200gallons I would of gone bigger but just haven’t got the space in the garden as still wanted abit of garden for my self and the girlfriend lol. I wanted a timber pond as thought was fairly straight forward to do and something I could do myself. As I said from only being in the hobby for a year this is a big upgrade for me but am still thinking of my next pond on from the one I’m building now. But that will be a new house when Iv had more time to save lol. I’m slowly coming closer to completion and have learnt IMG_0376.JPGIMG_0372.JPGIMG_0340.JPGa lot as I gone along and gave me more confidence for future pond builds. Hard work but can honestly say Iv enjoyed it.
Il update post next week when fingers crossed we have completion !!!! Buzzing !!!! IMG_0338.JPGIMG_0318.JPGIMG_0289.JPGIMG_0255.JPG

I stopped it through the night and just switched it back on again so hopefully be done today I have really slow water pressure. But it should be around 1200 gallons based on my dimensions but will get a accurate reading from my water meter haha

[QUOTE=anne;334968]Hey Annie it’s actually all filled up now ! Was trying to take a few snaps earlier but started to rain and I wanted the fish in the pic so holded out for a better pic! I connected up all the filters yesterday too and fitted float switch today and tidied up all air lines and cabling so I’m getting really happy with it now. Just have to build a timber like box container for the filters now and then it’s prity much finished! Hope alls well your end !

Lol it’s big enough for my little garden next house il go bigger! I love it I’m so happy with how it’s turned out! I fed them a orange for the first time today and they devoured it with an hour and half! They literally loved it so that’s going to be a regular thing now I think! Always wanted a pond and now I have what to me is a decent pond I’m so happy
