    Sealing pond window

So the days come. Glass due to be delivered tomorrow. Can anyone advise on what sealant to use? Ive created a fibreglass rebate, so the glads will bond to the concrete block, and be tooled off flush with the fibreglass rebate. Many thanks!

Used beads around each of the faces with 3mm window packers between window and fibreglass, this was to ensure the silicone wasn't forced out of the join. I used 5mm packers around the edges. Held the glass in place overnight. Pulled out the packers and filled the voids with silicone.

    Hi ,

I took out the packers the next day and filled the voids with silicone.

The following day I filled it

The water pressure holds the window in.

Two days after the window was first placed into the opening only because I took the packers out and put more silicone in.

Hope all goes well with the window, I used Idealseal MS290 to stick my window in with 4 mm packers to ensure I had a good bead to the fiberglass and packers at the bottom to level it and again give a good thick bead, much like scorchio, I took the packers out the next day in filled in the void with more sealant, then filled the next day, no issues at all with it apart from the weight

    Yes Roy,
That glass was very heavy and I was scared in case I dropped it or scratched it.
