House drains in the way - can I move?

Morning guys, some of you will have seen in my build thread I’ve got two drains in my garden restricting what I can do with the placement of my pond.

Previously, I thought these drains were a combination of mine and my neighbours, but they’re not - they’re both for my house only. I also thought they took a slightly different route than what I’ve discovered this week after taking closer inspection.

The one closest to the pond is the sewer drain from my house and the other rainwater drain. All the piping and man holes are plastic build. My question is, can I dig them up and move them closer to the house to give me a bit more wriggle room with the pond.

I’ve seen other people redirect the actual pipe using 45’s, but not seen the man hole shoots get moved. Here is a picture showing my areas marked up, including the 2 lines from drain to drain showing the pipe line.

Here is a very rough sketch up of where I’d like to move the lines to.

We move drainage a lot.You can do it.Just remember that if you change direction you need a manhole on sewerage. If its top water just use bends.

Easily We move loads of drains where they are in the way of extensions etc As long as you put a manhole wherever it changes direction it’s no problem. Just get a ground worker to do it if you can’t. It’s not a big job unless it’s a main drain but yours isn’t

Thanks - my main sewer drain and rain water drains run in parallel next to each other, so I’ll have to move both, but yeah after looking into them closely today I’m confident I can do it myself when I get the digger at the end of next week House drains in the way - can I move? Bloody things have been annoying me since we’ve moved in, so I’m glad I can move them to keep them out of sight.
