    Leaky Water feature advice pls

I built a large concrete clockwork tank and rendered it some 10-12 years ago. One end of the proposed base required some fill to get levels right, anyway sometime down the road there occurred subsidence and a crack which I have tried to repair with resin and bitumen but the leak has prevailed. The continuous leak is presumably making matters worse in the ground. I need a more permanent solution. I was considering fibreglassing the affected end ( the interior is rendered) or installing a welded rubber liner for the entire feature, not cheap as it is 9.5m x 2.3m. I noticed there are pond liner repair glues in gun cartridges could I bond a section of rubber liner to the concrete over the crack? It could be quite generous in case the crack extends.

    Thoughts please.

The water feature has plants and fish; comets and koi, the comets breed each year not the koi, would it be best to perform works after breeding time say July?

I hope he don’t mind, however Familyman on here (who is a builder) maybe well placed to advise here.

I guess there will be a number of other member who are builders and more experienced in building ponds, I just don’t know of them. I’m sure they will make themselves known shortly.
