Ha yeah, we’ve had good fun doing this build! EZ-Ponds have confirmed today they have the window ready, so just need to sort a date now for them to come insulate, fibre glass, fit the window and drop off the EZ500i QT pond
Also spent a crazy amount of money at Absolute Koi getting pumps, ASHP, Bakki showers, Drum filters and skimmer too on Friday I’m broke now, but got some awesome kit coming to keep me busy.
Plan is to try and get the QT system up and running ASAP, so I can get my first batch of fish through it ready for when the pond is filled.

Cor this has been some serious graft this building taking all these pipes back to the garage filtration room knackered, but getting there slowly... you feel like you’re getting somewhere and then a new trench is dug and your garden is full of mounds of soil again

Doesn’t help that everywhere I dig, I’m in the middle of sewer pipes one side and rain water pipes the other side - this trench is the width of the bucket, which is pretty much the width between the pipes. It’s taken forever today carefully digging this out and filling and emptying a wheel barrow all day
Red is sewer and blue is rain water

Thanks guys - it’s a big old job that’s for sure! Who’d a thought I’d dig 1.5m deep trenches around my garden and house just to run filtration pipes to the garage Building a pond infrastructure feels like more effort than house foundations
