Thanks all.
Bit worried about having the waterfall running because of the noise. Next door got burgled last night and they tried to avoid my CCTV by laying low on the other side of the fence next to wildlife pond, so they'll definitely have heard it and know there's stuff to be stolen from my garden.

Agree mate.
There's an alley behind the gardens wide enough in places to get a car down.
My back fence is 10 foot tall but climbable. Next door's is 9 foot tall block work and rendered. It is not possible to climb without a ladder and you cannot see into their garden without climbing it.
It's happening every day here at the moment and another 2 houses done last night.
There's been a professional drone hovering over gardens (really high up) on and off for a few months now. It was hovering over ours when I was feeding the koi a few months back. A lot of people suspect it has been casing the area.

9ft is easy enough to scale, a hoops at 10ft and a slam dunk or hang is not impossible for many folks
almost every garden here has a water feature, pond or sex baths running and a back lane big enough for a waggon to go down, the sound of water does not seem to attract trouble, people leaving valuable easy to shift stuff out on the other hand...the slow pond build thread

We've had the odd toad visiting the wildlife pond for a few Months now, but yesterday we spotted a new resident - A Frog!
No idea where these things come from and how they find your garden, but never seen a frog with just the Koi pond running, yet now we have one in the wildlife pond!

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
