Just a small update, showers arrived I'm planning on getting the tiling finished tomorrow (well the side facing the house) and the coping slate on. Hoping the weather holds out!

Rear coping slate on, shower up and running, I'm trying to get the back wood slats on today in amongst the rain!

The build starts...
I'm sure I will get a good few years out of the timber, it's for external fencing.

Like the look of Jay, I've decided no pergola now after the trouble I had with the neighbours and the filter house. Hope you get it all done soon

Looking lovely jay mate. How longs it all been running now? You finished the filter shed and that yet? Is that your first pond or have you had previous ponds. Did you go for fibreglass? Did you do all or most the work yourself. Sorry for all the questions just think you done well on it mate. Remeber you talking about building it middle of summer ! Bet ya happy it’s done now

Cheers mate, filter sheds not quite done, need to do the door and redo the roof!
I went with fibreglass in the end, no previous ponds apart from a small wildlife pond! Although I've kept fish for 20 odd years.
Are you sure it wasn't summer 2019
Can see the finish line, but still loads to do!

That shower looks real good Jay, and I am also liking the wood with the tiling, are you going to leave the wood natural colour too mate ??

Got the coping finished today with the help of a friend, neither of us had tiled or put copings on before, but I'm pretty pleased with how it's turned out
For the eagle eyed amoungst you, I added 3 small English Koi a week last Monday, so it's not sitting empty till spring! Not managed any decent pics of them yet.

And an RGB led 35watt light, this is the only colour that comes out ok on my phone camera! But you get the idea...
The list of stuff to do has shrunk, but the main build is finally over only 7 months
