    2000 gal pond extension project

So, you may remember me from my over optimistic 5000gal teardrop pond plans, those plans have sadly been pushed back about 5 years. But all is not lost! I still have a project, I知 planning to extend my existing pond in all directions, including up! I won稚 be putting a window in this one because it is still a relatively temporary pond.

I have broken ground today and just opened up the top to be roughly the size and shape I知 looking for, Thankfully I have plenty of time to work on it now!

    Ok, you asked for it!

This is the pond as it was last summer.

This is the temporary pool for the fish (and then for me when they go into the newly built pond!)

    Starting the dig.

I知 taking it very slowly with the digging - got 3 weeks before I can do much with it anyway, so may as well just do a couple of hours exercise each day with digging!

Not sure yet how I知 going to extend upwards, thinking maybe sleepers along the fence and brick round the rest.
