My pond did exactly the same as yours, although on a slightly smaller scale lol.
I filled the pond but then took a while to put fish in it and get the nitrogen cycle going.
In that time it went really green and murky for ages. I thought my brand new amalgam UV was knackered, but it wasn't the UV.
It was just something about the water chemistry - or perhaps the rate of algae blooms - that meant it stayed green for ages. It then eventually cleared after about 2- 3 months of constant running with fish in and the odd water change when the parameters required it. I now only have the UV on for 4 hours overnight and that's enough for my pond (40w UV for 13k litres).
So I'd say don't worry, I'm sure your two uvs will do it, but you might have to wait awhile before it starts clearing up, especially given the volume of water and turn over rate.

I agree my pond was murky/cloudy for 6 weeks or so with plenty of UV before it completely cleared, I am sure its down to maturing of the pond, bacterial stabilisation on walls etc etc..since then its been great, although on the odd day can be murky again , then clears...whether down to rain not sure. No fines as I run a drum.. You may find once you start the Nitrogen cycle with media/fish it rights itself..
But it was not green, so perhaps it is lack of UV power the additional UV will help you? Also to check (if not done already)the max flow rate of your UV and not exceeding them as that can affect the performance,
Cheers

Right, video update for you all.... More of a general garden update rather than pond specific, but it is what it is!

Thanks. There really is a lot of garden to deal with so I guess I shouldn’t get too despondent. The original team consist of father and son chippies and a school leaver labourer. Since the beginning of this year, they have treated this job like a hospital job which had been frustrating as the one thing I asked them to commit to at the beginning was to see it through to the end. I have one other guy working here now for about 6 months, a friend of mine who was made redundant during COVID, he’s a dab hand on the digger and with groundwork’s in general so he has been a rock for me of late. With that said I know he has to go start another job beginning of July so I don’t have him for much longer. Just got to keep pushing them all on as best I can.

And a nighttime update. Forgot to mention in the video that the pool outside shower screen made from leftover sleepers has been done along with the steel pool cover trays. I’ll get some pics of those in the daylight along with the Japanese corner building base that’s been laid.

Cheers guys, the nighttime view pleases me currently because I can’t see all the work still to be done!!!
didn’t base it in anything else, just spent about 12 months playing with different designs and then afterwards had a 2d scale drawing done, followed by 3D renders. Made a couple of tweaks during the design and a couple of tweaks during the build but yeah just really a result of a vision and playing with the crayons!
I might be tempted to have a pond visit, will see how things go!

Bazza,
Just a thought.... with my first design..... I messed up big time I forgot about intruders......
Had visit from a mother otter and her to 2 pups!
All caught on me surveillance cameras... cheeky things demolished 3 prize koi.... but had the good manners to use the pagoda dining area....
Don't think your to far away from me? I'm up the top of the A12... so not to far lol

So what do you recommend?
I'm planning on adding a load of boulders around the top of the pond to remove the square top edge on view currently. Flower beds beyond all of them except where the deck and glass is obviously.
Yep, Chelmsford area of the A12, so not so far.
