Grrrr. Small weep from under the bottom edge of one of the frames. Have removed the excess water into vats and the filtration pit (so I can put it back) and waiting for it to dry....

in other bad news my water flow meter has stopped. Ffs. Going to get another one to re-measure the top half of the fill.

Oh no! That absolutely sucks. Can you use your suppliers water meter (if you're on one).

He would have to ban everyone from having a bath or shower or flushing the toilets, and can take many hours for ponds of that size to fill so an unpopular household move if you don’t live alone!

You are certainly having more than your fair share of problems mate. It will all come good soon a mind be a distant memory when it’s all running smoothly.

    Cheers

    Thanks guys.

so yes I am on a water meter, but as Feline says, I w ok I’ll have to ban all other use. Only option would be to measure how much water it fills per hour (with no other usage) and then time the fill.

Water meters aren’t too expensive and I was planning on fitting one to the filter pit for the cleaning and top up, so will just get that sorted. I’ve emptied the pond to half depth and the bottom drains are all closed currently, so that will be as good as it gets I think.

should be able to reach the area that needs more sealant from over the top of the glass. Already been in the pit in wellies that transpired to have a hole in one and left me with a numb left foot! One of the guys has been in the pool to fit the swim jet bracket in waders and he said that was freezing too!

Feeling a bit non plussed today, feel like yesterday had a lot of wasted time just shunting water around. Onwards and Upwards as they say!

Keep your head up matey these things crop up, even with my small build things never flew straight, Iím now on my second filter of my new set up, had an intermittent problem with the fist one which drove me and the Mrs mad. We as pond/water/koi keepers just keep going itís always worth it in the end even if theirs no end to the end lol. Good luck
