    The rule of thumb for pressure in relation to height is
    0.1 bar per metre, so a 2m deep pond has 0.2 bar pressure
    At the bottom. The external distances don't affect this.

    The quality of the joint would be more a cause of concern.

    I used the same BD on my liner build.
    i prefer using tangit or weld-on pressure cement, just personal preference though...

    if i was laying a concrete base and block walls i'd use pressure pipe.
    considering the cost and time it's just not worth risking it imo.

    Bottom Drain Pipes do they NEED to be Pressure pipe or any solvent weld underground..-bottom-drain-jpg

    You don't have to be a pipefitter to keep koi...
    but it helps...

    Done mine in pressure pipe and the returns, will continue with pressure pipe and fittings for filters etc, bolts and braces, its not cheap, but hopefully it'll be fail safe
