Just touched 13c in the last 10 minutes.
Rising bloody fast. Was 12.1c 0600am this morning. Amazing what this cover does.
So have they said when delivering the covers lol.
Hope they turn up soon. I don t need mine on during the day. But need it on a night time.
    Fish still eating like mad.
But sulking with cover on the pond. It will take a week or so for them to get used to it.
I don t normally cover untill mid to end of October.

No chance. The cover the last couple of years has kept it at 8c to 12c.
And fed all winter. So that will do me.
Also keeps them off the bottom.
Can t justify the extra cash on heating.
Sooner spend that on grandkids and patch

just been out myself. and it is showing 13.3c this morning lol. pond water. so to cover lol. are you going for the green house affect pergola and side walls. or are you covering the pond its self.
good to get time to yourself to do a bit on the pond. the scaff company came yesterday and removed 3\4 of the scaffolding. so i had a good clean up. of all the rendering waste that was hidden in and underneath the scaffolding
that was all piled on the deck. wash down today. to get rid of dust.
and patches long walk. got to keep him happy. how is the wife and little legs. with this N. East lockdown lol. up to now. where just avoiding it here in Hull. stay safe mate

Lost 3/4 profit on the cafe. From profit before pandemic lol. Was earning a bomb
Before 2 meter rule. Enough for me to retire of the oil rigs. We ain't doing bad though.
The lad who rendered the back way. Looks like he might be going down the road.
    Up at court soon.
So front way is on hold rendering wise untill we see what happens to him. Smacked a copper. Roughing him up.
    It's on video as well.
    Patch says hello

We got the tragic news yesterday that Fred has passed away. See https://www.koiforum.uk/pond-constru...freddyboy.html

Members expressed a wish to memorialise his pond build thread here somehow.
I don’t want to change the thread title because it’s Fred’s thread and he made it. But I have made it a sticky.
RIP Fred, you were a wonderful man loved by all you met and we will all miss you

Dear God, shocking news that, my stomach turned over when I read the email, telling me about this post, feel desperately sad for Freds family, he was clearly a loving family man, who will be greatly missed by his family and also by us posters.

RIP Fred sleep well my friend
