picture of the month (july)
Well i would just like to take the chance to say thank you to all who entered last months picture of the month competion,Thank you every one.
Davej has come up with a brill idea for july / august picture of the month.
This will be run over two months this time and not just the one month.
The theme will be "The Koi Show" this means you are aloud one picture of any thing you like to be entered this time from a koi show with in the july and august months.
Then we will all vote as normal.
Good luck every one and if any ones has any questions just ask.
Mark

Sorry Guys, just to clarify. it can be a picture of a koi etc that you have taken from a koi show (so not necesarily your own koi). and does it have to be from one of the koi shows in 2011 between july and august? or can it be from any show?

Hiya Pondy
Yes your right it can be of anything you like, a koi, a bonsi tree, a vat of koi, any thing at all. And also yes it has to be from a show that is in July / august 2011. i believe in them two months we have 3 shows which are the cambridge show, northeast show, southeast show. so come on every one get to a show and get clicking. Also with your picture please tell us what koi show it was taken from, we dont want to know if it was a grand champion or so. Mark

I was hoping to enter the photo comps from now on but as there are no shows in my area, that lets me out, and for 2 months as well.....

ok well you missed out the Essex show which is on the week after the cambridge show (which is this weekend)
also the south east show doesnt happen until the end of August where it would not give you a chance to enter photo's as you would want them all in by then.

I have found a show near Birmingham, its not local and its in a garden center so not sure what kind of show it will be. Its a 175 mile round trip so probably a no goer.

Right it looks like many people are not going to be able to get to a show so what i will do is set this months picture competition to just the cambridge koi show this way it will give others to enter in next month again.
So once again one picture per person from the cambridge koi show of any thing you want at all.
Good luck to all that go.
