IMO Bead filters are not suitable on their own without separating the solids out first, they're going to block with shyte and need cleaning far too...

Biography:: Long time Koi keeper, since '75 IIRC! Now one small pond, 7500 litres, bottom drain to EazyPod and skimmer to 4 bay KK in summer. I'm disabled so try to make things simple, comfy little shed where it all happens and a son who helps with all the hardcore stuff and dirty jobs ;-)

Location:: Bexhill-on-Sea

Interests:: Airguns, Bass guitar, C?, Drinking and Eating, Fish, Gardening, House, Internet, J

Occupation:: Retired in2002, 20 years of laziness!
