  1. Hi all.

    New members and first post.

I’m in the process of designing a new pond and trying to decide on in-wall skimmer. I like the Certikin with the floating collar as this guarantees that it is skimming regardless of water level. However, it is only for pump feed systems. I want the skimmer to gravity feed to a sieve so need to go for one of the high flow types available. The thing I can’t get my head around is how you guarantee that this type is actually skimming and not just acting as a second inlet to you filter? They all seem to have a slotted front plate that (if possible which I’m not sure they all can) would need adjusting by hand as you water level changes.

    Welcome your thoughts and suggestions.
