Hi is the shower still available?
  2. The combi drums are fine but not enough bio,
100 litres would only suit up to 1000 gallons imo.
my basic yard stick is a 10:1 metric imperial ratio ....100 litres of bio per 1000 gallons...
So i would add another 100 litre bio chamber or a small shower if around 2000 gallons.

Thanks Dave, always good to get a recent recommendation, thinking of going for the combi drum and just running the UV after the bio!
  4. Hi Athers, Yes i'm very happy with mine and can't grumble considering the price and build quality.
the only caveat is siting an amalgam UV in the dirty side as it oxidises the drum seal, though i have sorted a solution to this by fitting a reflector inside the amalgam tube.
it in my build thread on this forum.

Hi Dave, I am looking to get a qk25 combi and just wanted to see if you recommended yours?
  6. Hi Carl,
I answered your message on youtube,
sorry I don't have the time or proper cnc tools to make filter chambers for anyone else,
there are lots of companies that will make you a bespoke plastic chamber if you need one,
    like JBR
JBR Plastics Limited | Bottom Drains | Plastic Welding | Drainage Systems

Good Morning Dave I messaged you on your youtube filter walk through asking if you happen to make bio chambers for other ppl ?? I've got a very awkward filter room my floor in there is 9 inches higher than my outside patio so I have 26inches height from concrete floor to water level in pond and it's a rented cottage on a country estate so I don't think they will.be happy if I start chipping floor up lol ,and I was looking at Profidrum off a friend but his bio is the qk150 which I think is going to be to tall .many thanks Carl.
