    Hi,

I saw your post on Terry's filters. I am mid build and one of my questions was the levels of the barrels. I was also wondering if they could all be at the same level without issue. But if I go this route and it fails then it will mean buying another load of barrels as all the holes will be in the wrong place!

My thinking was that as long as there isn't too much resistance caused by the media or holes in the exit downpipe then there is no need for the extra water head pressure from the feed barrel being higher.
I don't feel I've totally grasped this issue though, hence reaching out to you for some advice!

Whilst I understand the levels could be more neatly managed with the flow pipe height inside the barrel, if the height difference needed to be a lot, wouldn't you lose a lot of the tank capacity?
(Am particularly focused on this since I paid a lot extra for 290l barrels instead of the widely available 220l.

    Appreciate your input please!

    Thanks
    David
