Doitsu Hariwake?
Rescued this little one from a garden centre that had it in a fish tank as a temporary measure!
Am I right in thinking s/he's a Doitsu Hariwake?

Hi there Steve, not an expert but yes I would say it's a Doitsu Hariwaki and a nice example.
Looks a young one so hope it does well for you.John

Could be Kikusui if that comes through as Beni. It could do if it hasn't seen much sunshine. Nice looking chap either way.

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
