Thread: Wanted old screen for filtreau drum

Hi

Has anyone near the east midlands have an old unused screen for filtreau drum I can pick up. I want to have a go at replacing the mesh with a coarser stainless mesh to increase flow.

As you can appreciate I don't to use my current screen and doesn't work, i be left without a working filter

they did 2 sorts,the standard and the hiflow,just looked now and some koi dealers are doing the complete replacement 70 micron hiflow screen for £72 just google FILTREAU 70MICRON SPARE SCREEN FOR DRUM (HI FLOW),, im looking around as need to redo screens on both my small KC10 drums,i wish mine was as simple as yours to replace,mine is fastened on with about 50 tiny nuts and bolts lol ,,,,cheers andi

I already have the hi flow, although it is quite old. I just wanted to try putting a 120 micron ss screen on it, which should give more flow.
I don't fancy your 50 tiny nuts and bolts good luck
