Thread: Alfagrog

    Alfagrog

Just wondered if anyone had any alfagrog lying around that they wanted rid of, looking to bulk fill a new DIY Bakki shower - made it a bit too big and need a space filler to make up 200L of space!

Ideally within 75 miles of London.

    Thanks

    Matt

Haha, you aren't far wrong there!

Still aren't sold on its benefit over the close alternatives but don't want to start that off again!

Doing a bit of testing my end atm with pumice, alfagrog, bio pore, siporax, crystal bio and a Chinese shower media. Been running them all for two months so will let you know my findings.

Looking promising for the Chinese media and alfagrog is performing really well.

I'll be adding alphagrog in my shower, in the first instance. It's secondary filteration from skimmer to sieve to shower. Main filteration is nexus 220 with drop in Draco. 50 litres of K1 to start with. Pond will be just over 10,000 litres.
