    Wanted gravity sieve

    Anybody selling ultra sieve midi or any other gravity sievei live in sheffield can any body tell me the water levell have to be in these sieve my pont is 4ft deep but i have my 4 chamber filter built up to the water levell so i may have to take some concrete out got about 70cm to play with in height

    Hi there The run level is marked on the inside of my sieve Its usually about 1 to 1.5 inches below the top of the rim. this level needs to be approximatly the same as the level of water in your pond.( think of your sieve, bottom drain and pond as a big U tube where the water level will always be the same on both sides of the U)

    I think you need to decide which one you want and get the sieve before making any decisions as sieve's are different heights My tip would be to dig it deeper than you think it needs to be then you can always chock up the sieve to match water/ running levels.
