Thread: QUENI KOI QK15 COMBI (drum + bio) FILTER

Queni Koi QK15 combi filter (drum + bio chamber). This is rated at 15000 l/hr max flow rate and is basically a plug & play filter set up. Includes 100 l K1 micro media. £1650.


4 years old and was running perfectly (new drum seal fitted 6 months ago).

These are made by DVS filters in Holland.


You'll need to collect the filter from me in Derby. (DE21 6FT)

Hi, interested in this, in fairly local. Is it discontinued by QK? Can't see it on the Web site. I was looking for dimensions and inlet position.

Thanks for this, really handy. Is there a uv fitted? Just doing some measuring up to see if it'll fit (I'm tight for space). Is it ready to go collect?

Yes it's ready for collection.
No, no uv is fitted.

Are these reliable drums and what size pond would it suit can it be pump fed also

My experience is that it's been very reliable.
To some extent depends what turnover you want, it's rated at 15000 litres and hour so in theory a pond up to 3000 gals would turn over once an hour. The other point is the size of bio you want? I ran it on a pond about half that size.
It is set up for gravity feed, sorry no idea if it is easy to switch to pump fed.

Its to run alongside my nexus 320 so its more a secondary filter

"Plug & Play"?????? How so, when it has to be flushed out so often?
