Nearly new Jebao 185watt 20,000 variable pump for sale.

I bought this pump to replace my Sequence 15,000 as the Jebao offered similar flow rates but half the watts.

Running at 100% it draws only 185watts. Nearly new Jebao 185watt 20,000 variable pump for sale.

Turns out the 20,000 litres per hour is actually around 12,000 litres per hour on my set up so it’s pulling less the Sequence. Guess it’s got less torque than the Sequence hence the lower wattage.

    Anyways...

Lovely pump, great to be able to vary the flow so I’ve bought the same Jebao pump but the 30,000 this time.

The 20,000 is now for sale, only had a couple of months of use so it’s priced at £100 for it. £160 brand new.

It’s dry mounted but it can also be submersed if needed.

I’m happy to post it, at cost, for anyone.

FYI: it’ll come in the 30,000’s box so don’t get too excited when you receive it, it will be the 20,000 inside!

The controller, etc will be brand new as I can’t be bothered to change all the wiring out so that’s a bonus for the buyer.

Any questions give me a shout.

I run one of these, great pump, and as you say, if you don't go silly on head height or very long runs with lots of bends they are a very efficient pump.

Mine can churn out 10klph at around 55 watts.

    Well worth the money.

Only tiny downside is the handle, it unclips too easily so it is safer to carry it by the pump body.

    Good luck with the sale.

    Hi Gray,

I am interested in this pump to pull from a standing skimmer (and possible feed a waterfall) - am i right in assuming that a hosetail can be fitted to both the inlet and outlets? - it certainly seems like it from the pictures

if so, do you happen to still have the hosetail(s)?

finally, I would need this posted to SW London, would you consider £100 posted?

    Many thanks
    Asif

Hi. The hose tails supplied with the pump will be included as I didn't need to use them. Yes, you can screw whatever you like to either end of the pump.

The pump is priced at £100, which is very fair given its low running time, so the postage to London would be on top.

    Thanks.

Is it not the controller that’s the difference between the 20k & 30k?

    The actual pumps are different.

The 30k pump is much larger and heavier than the 20k.

The controllers, look to me, identical but I will be checking regardless when I fit the 30k just in case!

Either way, the ‘used’ controller is nearly new anyways as the run time is so low.

I just thought the controller had different internals that’s all, to allow for the extra power to go through, didn’t want you to send off the 30k controller and then realise you couldn’t go above 185w still lol

    Hi Gray

that's fair enough - can you please check on postage?

I will PM you my post code

providing the postage isn't stupid money, I am happy to go with £100

as already pointed out, its probably worth checking that the controllers are the same - wouldn't want you stuck with an under powered pump (or even the 20000k driven too hard )

BTW, I assuming PayPal is ok with you?

    Thanks

Cheers for that. They are stickered differently but the spec seems the same. Going to give them a test over the weekend so I'll soon find out! Hoping they are indeed the same to save me having to rewire...

You can get some of the smaller size ones from Amazon I recall. For the larger ones you'll have to go to eBay possibly but I went to a pond place to pick both of mine up.

eBay or Amazon jebao tsp models if your gravity fed just don’t use cage 10000 model as 1.5 inch threaded inlet and outlet think they do a 15000 and 20000 all variable flow the 10000 I got is tiny compared to evolution aqua 20000 I already have and the auto cut out with no flow works on the jebao but not on the evolution aqua one I have

Hi MikeMack - you were right regards the controller. One's a 200w (for the smaller pump) and one's a 400w. I saw this when I went to switch the pumps out. So what was a 10min job took me over 2hrs to do as it all needed rewiring in! Just thought I'd say in case anyone reads this thread and is wondering. Cheers.

Hi DannyBouy - you've got second dibs on this now as I was quoted £14 to post the pump from the Midlands to London via UPS, tracked & insured, and since then the chat went dead with the other guy. Seemed a fair price to me, cheaper than driving to collect it!

Anyways, if you're still interested the pump is all boxed up, cleaned and ready to go.

Feel free to PM me with address, etc and I can look at UPS again and give you a postage price.

    Hi Gray,

I would still like the pump - apologies for the radio silence since yesterday morning, but had a family member taken in and was distracted. Also, to be fair, there has also more than 24-36hr delays in some of your responses to PMs

Anyway, happy to go ahead and will make PayPal payment in about 1hr - please confirm its still available or have you now sold it?

    Thanks

I'm genuinely sorry to hear about your family member, I wasn't aware.

However, I'm not going to publicly play tit-for-tat over response times, this forum is not the place for that, but I will say I messaged you 4 days ago and said "Are you interested still in the pump? If not, I'll offer to someone else tomorrow" which should've been Sunday.

I waited until this morning, just in case, and heard nothing so I out of politeness I sent you a PM to say I have offered it to someone else.

And in ultimate fairness, sorry, but it's with DannyBuoy now for offer as I have already said above.

Gray, I also, don't want to play tit for tat on a public forum - you have raised the point about not responding.."....since then the chat went dead with the other guy" - This is not entirely true is it?

You did indeed send me a message advising of the postage cost on Friday, I responded by expressing my surprise at the postage cost, but in the same message agreed to go ahead with the purchase and requested your payment details.

You sent me those details yesterday morning - and I fully accept I delayed in responding to that message

I pride myself in being honest and genuine in all my dealings with everyone, so feel compelled to put things straight and certainly not tit for tat

I absolutely accept its fair for you to offer to the next person on the list - and certainly no ill feelings on my part. Just unfortunate timing

Good luck with the sale and best regards
